Dr. Amy received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, earned her medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. 

 

She recently relocated to Bainbridge Island after spending most of her career in southern Oregon. Dr. Amy loves working with families and sees herself as a teacher and collaborator with parents and patients seeking the best health for their child/self.  She is most passionate about preventive care, the value of nature and the outdoors on children, nutrition and the gift of reading.   

 

Dr. Amy lives on Bainbridge Island with her pug Poppy and near her extended family.  She enjoys the outdoors, travel, pickleball and keeps particularly busy chasing grandchildren when not working as a Locum Tenens at Bainbridge Pediatrics. 

 

Dr. Amy believes in the effectiveness of vaccines and follows the immunization guidelines recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
