BILLING AND FEES
Patients are billed monthly and charges, if applicable, will be submitted to your insurance for you. We are a preferred provider for most of the major insurance plans in our area. Ultimately, you are financially responsible for any outstanding co-payments, deductibles or uncovered services after insurance payments.
It is important for you to be familiar with your insurance coverage. We recommend you understand your policy, especially with reference to co-payments, deductibles, well care coverage, referral pre-authorization, and prescription coverage. Bainbridge Pediatrics will try to assist you as we can, but it is not possible for us to know or assure you of what coverage your employer’s health insurance contract provides.
Insurance Cards
Please bring your most current insurance card to each visit. Insurance companies and procedures change frequently, and our contracts with insurers require us to validate your insurance coverage each time we see you. We will need to see the card at each visit to provide you with the most efficient billing service.
Overdue Accounts / Special Arrangements
For all accounts where the patient balance is over 60 days past due, we
will apply a $5 service charge for each month it continues to be
overdue until the balance is paid in full. If, for whatever reason, you are experiencing financial difficulties, please let us know of your circumstances so we can attempt to accommodate your needs. Special financial arrangements will be made on a case by case basis. We do have a cash discount for patients who pay cash at the time of visit. Please call our office manager to discuss your situation.
Participating Insurance Plans
Bainbridge Pediatrics contracts with most major insurance plans. Check here for our list of currently accepted insurance carriers. Please let us know if your plan is not included as we are continually working to accept other insurance plans.
